Extraordinary Elk - Antlers & Calves
We think elk are extraordinary, and after visiting our farm, we think you will too!
If you want to see our bulls showing off their fully grown antlers, and get a peek at our newest calves, then a visit in July or August is for you!
Fully guided by Katie, one of the owners & operators of Narrows Edge Elk, this private visit will get you closer, and teach you more about elk than you thought possible. Throughout the walk, Katie will share her extensive elk knowledge, and regale you with stories about herd members and the farm, making this experience both entertaining and educational.

Extraordinary Elk, Private Visit - July/August Includes:
-Exclusive, access to the farm, herd & hosts. Only one private group booked at a time.
-Fully guided tour along our 1.7 km perimeter walking trail where we will share unique stories about our animals & farm. Walk will take approx. 1.5 hours.
-Herd Meet & Greet. During your walk, Katie will do her best to draw the herd in close using their favourite treats. For biosecurirty reasons guests are not permitted to feed or touch the elk.
- *Optional* After the walk, you are welcome to stick around in our observation area, where your group can continue to watch the herd while you enjoy a snack & a game of Cornhole. You provide the snack, we provide the view. (Strictly no cooking, or alcohol on farm)
-Opportunity to see our bulls at the end of their '25 antler growing process. They'll be sporting their full grown sets through July & August.
-A glimpse at our newest calves, born between mid-May & mid-July
-Plenty of antlers to see, touch and take pictures with, including our bull, Riker's, 2024 set - the largest grown in Ontario!
-Fresh Air, Wide Open Spaces, Peace & Quiet, & an Escape from the hustle & bustle of daily life

IMPORTANT INFO - READ BEFORE BOOKING
Our 1.7km Perimeter Trail is not difficult to navigate, but does have areas of rough terrain and may be muddy. Wear weather appropriate clothing & footwear. Trail is not stroller/wagon friendly. Visitors must remain on the clearly marked trail at all times.
Elk views are guaranteed but we can't guarantee how close they will decide to come to the fence. Calm, quiet conversations and walking at a slow, steady pace will improve the experience for both you and the elk. Guests must remain 3' from fence at all times.
Yelling, calling, bugling at, or playing elk noises from a phone are considered harassment, and will stress the herd out. Visitors engaging in this behaviour will be asked to leave. Absolutely no pets allowed - the elk will not take kindly to them.
Private visits are slotted for 3 hours, between 5 & 8pm. The visit starts with a guided walk an herd meet & greet, which will take approx. 1.5 hours. Afterwards your group is welcome to stay & utilize our picnic observation area. You provide the snacks, our herd provides the view. Strictly no cooking or alcohol allowed. Group must leave by 8pm.
Due to our farm's strictly enforced biosecruty protocols, each group must check-in and check-out. A waiver/release will be required to be signed upon arrival for each visitor.
Don't forget your camera, & bring some binoculars in case the elk are playing shy. Bug spray is highly recommended during warmer months.

REFUND POLICY
No Refunds. Trail is open rain or shine. Unused Reservations can be redeemed for a future "Extraordinary Elk" visit, pending availability. Rescheduled visit date/time is at Narrows Edge Elk's discretion & must be pre-arranged in writing. narrowsedgeelk@gmail.com
